Assalamu Alaikum>> Dear brothers and sisters in Islam, Boston Islamic Center is happy to announce that the first day of Ramadan will be on Thursday June 18, 2015 due to negative sighting of the crescent of Ramadan on the evening ofTuesday.

According to our prophet’s clear guidance regarding the beginning of the month of Ramadan, we must fast by seeing the crescent or by completing the month of Sha’ban thirty days. Therefore, based on this guidance most Muslim countries announced that Ramadan will start on Thursday.

We also would like to announce the following important programs.

1.Trawih (night prayer) will begin right after Isha prayer (Isha starts 10:10PM)

2. Iftar will be provided every evening of Ramadan days at the center

3.There will be evening classes every evening 45 minutes before Iftar time. The classes will based on the book of Majalis "sitings” of the Month of Ramadan.

Finally, we congratulate all Muslims on this remarkable month of blessings and forgiveness and encourage all of them to tap and benefit from the opportunities stored in this month.

We ask Allah to accept our good deeds and forgive our shortcomings. Ameen
